Emilie's Mother's Day Birthday at the Beach

Sunriver

We had a lot of fun in Sunriver this past week. I am pretty sure that Sunriver is my favorite place to vacation. Every time we go (we have been twice) I have so much fun. I am not sure why, but I just love it. We went with our friends the Eriksons. They have three boys similar ages to our kids. The kids played together all day long. Diane and I hung out and tried to do as little as possible. Erik and Randy went to the Deschutes Brewery, took the kids sledding, played frisbee golf (of course), went bike riding etc. The adults had a lot of fun playing games when the kids went to bed. The first morning we were there, we woke up to five inches of snow, the kids had a lot of fun playing in it.

Christmas

We had a lot of fun on Christmas this year. OUr tradition each year is making gingerbread. Autry remembered it from last year and was more than excited.
Autry got a skateboard shirt and a thing to color on, and Clare got some bracelets and a puppy. They were completely content with their presents all day long.

Coming home

We are home! Autry and Claire are completey enthralled with their new baby sister. Randy and I have to act like a shield around her to make sure she doesn't get hurt, but it is so much fun to see how they love her.
